At Change Happens Foundation, our mission is grounded in the belief that every child deserves a safe place to sleep, a nourishing meal, and the opportunity to dream. Nowhere is that belief more urgently needed—or more powerfully demonstrated—than in the work of Project Hawai’i, Inc.
We are honored to support Project Hawai’i’s tireless efforts to break the cycle of poverty for homeless children across the Hawaiian Islands. Their work is a testament to what happens when compassion meets commitment.
Hope in Action
Each year, Project Hawai’i, Inc. provides hundreds of keiki (children) living in unsheltered or unstable conditions with critical resources—from meals and hygiene supplies to educational support and life-skills training. Their approach is deeply personal and profoundly impactful: volunteers hike into encampments, visit beaches and back roads, and meet families wherever they are—bringing help, hope, and human dignity.
What sets Project Hawai’i apart is not just what they provide, but how they empower. Through seasonal camps, mentorship programs, and academic coaching, children who once felt invisible are given the tools to see a different future—and to believe it belongs to them.
Investing in Futures, Not Just Aid
At Change Happens Foundation, we know that emergency relief is essential—but long-term transformation requires more. Project Hawai’i, Inc. meets that challenge with a model that nurtures not only the needs of today but the dreams of tomorrow.
From preschool prep to college-bound support, the organization provides a continuum of care designed to lift children from crisis to confidence, giving them the consistency and encouragement so often denied in their young lives.
Why We Stand With Project Hawai’i
In a place known for its beauty, the reality of childhood homelessness can remain heartbreakingly hidden. Project Hawai’i refuses to look away—and we are proud to stand beside them in making the invisible, visible.
Our partnership affirms what we hold true: that where a child starts should not determine where they end up. That local solutions, driven by compassion and accountability, can change lives. That investing in children is the most lasting form of change.
Because when you give a child hope, you give a community its future.
